Edna R. Watkins

Edna R. Watkins, 94, of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Homewood at Crumland Farms. She was the wife of the late Ray M. Watkins who passed away in 1998.
Born February 28, 1912 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Jesse James Rippeon and Carrie Crum Rippeon.
Edna was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Frederick for over 60 years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Edna enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by three sisters, E. Caroline Zigler of Frederick, Margaret L. Hofmann of Frederick, and Ruth E. Anderson of Clarksburg, MD, one brother, Orman Z. Rippeon and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn McElfresh, four brothers, Jesse C. Rippeon, Austin W. Rippeon, Edward C. Rippeon and Charles L. Rippeon.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, December 1, 2006 from 6:00-9:00PM.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Kenneth R. Dunnington officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
