Edna {Pat} Hahn

Mrs. Edna Pat Hahn , 70, of Thurmont, MD, was welcomed and delivered into the hands of the Lord, on Saturday, August 22, 2009, with a heroic spirit, after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 26, 1939 in Jimtown, MD., the daughter of the late Raymond Christian, Sr. and Bertha Lowery Hauver.

Mrs. Hahn was a life long and very active member of the Catoctin United Methodist Church. She was devoted to her spiritual beliefs and her church. Pat was also very active and supportive of Relay for Life. She enjoyed flower gardening, sightseeing and reading.

She is survived by her children Harold Hahn, Jr, Arlene Ayers, Brenda Hahn, David Hahn, Karen Hahn-Welch (Jim), Linda Christman (Warren), Lisa Hahn-Kirby (Jeff), Patricia Hahn, Lori Hahn and Amy Hahn, her grandchildren Kevin Hahn, Timothy, Kathy and Jennifer Ayers, Jennifer Hahn, Cody Christman, Amber, Christine and Matthew Hahn, Garrett McElfresh, Heather, Eric and Robert Hahn, her brothers and sisters Jean Jalil, Raymond Hauver, Jr, Gary Hauver and Dale Hauver. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

She will be remembered by all her extended family and all those that have provided her special care.

Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25, from 7 - 9:00 p.m. at the Catoctin United Methodist Church, 7009 Kelly's Store Road, Thurmont, MD.

Services: Services will be held at the church on Wednesday, August 26, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ernie Thayel and Rev. Dan Andrew officiating.
Interment Blue Ridge Cemetery.
