Edna Elizabeth "Libby" Myers

Mrs. Edna Elizabeth "Libby" Myers, 94, of Rocky Ridge, died Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Citizens Care and Rehab Center in Frederick. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Macks Myers.
Born October 24, 1922 in Creagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Charles Peter Mathias Kolb and Nettie Rebecca (Ramsburg) Kolb.
Libby was a beautician and was owner/operator of Libby's Hair Salon for many years.
She was a member of Rocky Ridge Ladies Auxiliary, and in earlier years, enjoyed bowling and traveling.
She is survived by three daughters, Joan E. Manahan of Accident, MD, Constance Castleton (Lon) of Huntsville, Utah, and Susan Turvin (Charles) of Middletown; a son, Timothy Myers (Toni) of Rocky Ridge; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Libby was predeceased by four brothers, William, Charles, Robert and Preston Kolb; three sisters, Catherine Burdette, Ruth Martin, and Nettie Remsburg; a granddaughter, Pamela Needham; and a son-in-law, Cyrus Manahan.
A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont.
Interment will be private.
