Mrs. Edna E. Kirkbride, 98 of Monrovia, MD, formerly of Columbus, OH died Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD. She was the wife of the late Charles Kirkbride.
Born on July 16, 1909, in Meigs Township near Zanesville, OH she was the daughter of the late James W. and Alice Keyes Gallogly. She had been a beautician, secretary and homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Shupe and husband David of Monrovia; grandson, Thomas Shupe and wife Christine of Alachua, FL; granddaughter, Lori Shupe of Hagerstown; great granddaughter, Katie Shupe of Alachua, FL and a second great granddaughter expected in December; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Edna was preceded in death by a son, John Kirkbride; three brothers, J. William Bill Gallogly, J. Eugene Gene Gallogly and Loil Keyes Tim Gallogly; three sisters, Mrs. Alton Louanna Parks, Mrs. Fred Opal Drake and Mrs. Dayle Frances Tucker; three half sisters, Mrs. Waldo Hazel Johnston, Mrs. Lewis Wilma McIntire and Mrs. Floyd Muriel Paisley Dickson.

Services:
A caring cremation has taken place at her request and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 27015 Ridge Rd., Damascus with Revs. Raymond Scheck and John Bromhal officiating.
A family graveside service will take place in Zanesville, OH later this year.
