Edna Leonard Mills "Maw Maw"

Mrs. Edna Mae Willis Leonard Mills "Maw Maw", 89 of Frederick went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday December 12, 2013, while at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation in Walkersville. She was the wife of the late James E. Leonard and the late Russell Mills, Sr.
Born on May 2, 1924 in Rural Retreat, VA she was the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Willie Geneva Anderson Willis.
She enjoyed being with family, friends and neighbors. Edna was an avid Orioles Fan. She also enjoyed listening to gospel music and up to the last year she was active in church. She also enjoyed bowling when she was able and shopping QVC.
Surviving are children Donald E. Leonard and wife Linda of Mt. Airy, Henrettia Sheppard of Charles Town, WV and Lovise Price and husband Dwight of Hagerstown. Nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and soon to be two great great grandchildren. Sister Virginia Cook of St. Petersburg, FL. She was preceded in death by her daughters Barbara Duvall, Ellen Leonard and Linda Earley.
Visitation will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home P. A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 3-5 & 7-9pm on Sunday December 15, 2013 where funeral services will be held on Monday December 16, at 11:00am. Pastor Greg Quintell will officate. Interment will follow at Flower Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Gaithersburg. Pallbearers will be Donald J. Leonard, Ronald Leonard, Louie Staubs, Matthew Staubs, John Simmons and Chris Lee.
The family would like to thank Pastor Greg Quintell and Pastor Bud Lusk of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, the staff of Glade Valley and Richard and Debbie Morton.
