Edna Eaton

Mrs. Edna E. Eaton, 75, of Stanardsville, VA and formerly of Thurmont, MD, died on Friday, April 15th, 2011 at the University of Virginia Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Erwin “ Malcom “ Hatcher and Robert “ Junior “ Eaton.  Born on jJune 29th, 1935 in South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Dugar and Edith  ( Toney ) Taylor. Mrs. Eaton was a former and active member of Peoples Baptist Church. She devoted her life to her family and home.
Surviving are 4 children, Shirley A. Monnier and husband Dwight, Wilma E. Early and husband Charles, Deborah L. Shry and husband Jerry, Barbara E. Herrell and husband Kevin.  She was the sister of Robert B. Taylor, Ethel R. Sturdivant, Calvin D. Taylor, Susan J. Taylor, Nolan Taylor, Bobby K. Taylor, Naomi Taylor, and Kenneth Taylor . Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Brian Early, Samantha Early, Rosemary Lee,
Kevin Herrell, Jr, 1 great-grandson Donald Eugene Lee, II .
Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, on Tuesday, April 19th, from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gene Renner officiating  Interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery. In  lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
