Mrs. Edith Catherine (Kimmell) Budesheim, 94, of Boonsboro, MD (formerly of Walkersville, MD), passed away Tuesday, March 6, at her home. She was the wife of the late Bernard Leroy Budesheim.
Born November 8, 1917 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George William and Lillian Waltz Kimmell.
Mrs. Budesheim loved traveling, flower and vegetable gardening.
She is survived by a son Gary W. Budesheim and wife Pam of Annapolis; three grandchildren, Kimberly Kaiktsian and husband James, Ronald L. Budesheim Jr., and Carole L. Elder and husband Tom; seven great grandchildren, Joseph and Alexis Kaiktsian, Heather, Hannah and Rebecca Budesheim, and Jessica and Alex Burnham. She was preceded in death by a son Ronald L. Budesheim.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Monday, March 12, from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. A procession to Mt. Olivet Cemetery will leave the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. for a graveside service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 108 Byte Drive, Suite 103, Frederick, Maryland 21702.
