Mr. Edgar W. Hamilton “Eddie or Big Ed”, 79 was called home on March 30, 2014 to be with his loving wife Mildred M. Hamilton.
He was born October 6, 1934 in Ashburn, VA to the late Charles W. and Lillian M. (Baker) Hamilton. Eddie worked for Genstar for 25 years for the asphalt division.
Surviving is one sister Shirley Duley of Leesburg, VA and a very special niece Brenda Duley of Brunswick, MD. In addition, he leaves behind several children, David and wife Peggy Hamilton of Frederick, Roxanne Gibson of Dundulk, Lillian Mohler and fiancé Gary Boyd, Grandchildren, Jamie Ketterman, Joseph Jr. (Joe Joe) and wife Angie Ketterman, David Jr. and Michael Hamilton, and Jeremy and Rachel Gibson. Also, he leaves behind several great grandchildren to whom he adored, Jayden and Isaiah Douglas, Kaitlyn and Kavon Ketterman.
Eddie enjoyed gardening, fishing, baseball (NY Yankees), football (Miami Dolphins) and especially spending time with his grand and great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD on Thursday, April 3rd at 11:00AM with Pastor Bryan Pumphrey conducting the services.
He will be missed greatly missed by his family.
