Chief Petty Officer (Retired) Edgar Allen Franklin, 82 of Ijamsville, MD died February 3, 2024.

Edgar was born in Baltimore, MD 1941 to Roger and Maravonda Franklin.  They moved to Pittsburgh area shortly after his birth and he was forever loyal to the Steel City. Upon retirement from the post office he could usually be found at the Maple Run golf course trying (unsuccessfully) to hit the ball straight and watching his grandkids sporting events and Catoctin High School Baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roger and Maravonda Franklin and his sister Linda Sparks.
