Earleen S. Sanders

Earleen S. Sanders , 78, of Emmitsburg passed from this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Bridging Life Hospice Care in Westminster.
Born on April 4, 1944, in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl Elliott Reaver and Rita May (Brawner) Reaver.

Earleen enjoyed spending time with her family, watching O's games, family trips and outings, doing word search puzzles, crocheting, playing cards, going to yard sales, baking and cooking. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan and of older TV shows and Westerns.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her niece Jennifer Saylor who was such a great help to her for her care, her brother in law Gordon Brauning, her dear friend Judy Manahan and all the friends at Seton Village Apartments.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Bridging Life Hospice Care for the loving care given to Earleen.

She is survived by five daughters, Laurie Wantz and husband, Ed of Emmitsburg, MD, Brenda Titman and husband, Richard of Gettysburg, PA, Nadine
Sanders of Ormond Beach, FL, Leah Mort and husband, Dave of Fairfield, PA, and Doris Taylor and husband, Anthony of Reisterstown, MD; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Gordon (Gene) Brauning of Deal Island, MD.

She was predeceased by a sister, Shirley R. Brauning; nephew, Eric A. Brauning; and twin infant brothers, Earnest E. Reaver and Charles T. Reaver.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 104
East Main Street, Thurmont, MD 21788.  A Rosary service will begin at 4 p.m.
