Earl Emery Conner, age 81, of Chestnut Grove Road, Sharpsburg, MD, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at his home.
Born Oct. 10, 1927 in Albright, WV, he was a son of the late George Anderson and Lottie Bell Litchliter Conner.
He had been employed in construction as a finish carpenter.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by two sisters, Lucy Wolfe of West Virginia and Freda Williams of Sharpsburg, and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro.
He will then be taken to the Browning Funeral Home in Kingwood, WV, where the family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until time of services at 11 A.M. Burial will be in the Mt. Morriah Cemetery in Albright.
