Dudley G. Aud

Dudley G. Aud , 86, of Mount Airy, Maryland, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home surrounded by loved ones and his beloved dogs, Sox and Moxie.

Born on January 13, 1938, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Dr. William D. Aud and Katheryn (Walker) Aud.

Dudley was the loving husband of the late Susan D. Aud, his wife of 48 years.

Dudley spent many years in the electronic distribution business at MS Electronics. After retiring, he spent his days riding his John Deere and taking care of his yard and pool. Of his hard work came "High Pines", his and Sue's homestead that would come to host many pool parties, cookouts and crab feasts for their family and many dear friends. 

In addition to his wife, Dudley found eternal peace alongside his son, William (Billy) P. Aud, Billy's wife, Susan K. Aud and his other son, Stephen L. Aud. He is survived by his grandchildren, Mallory, Cameron and Luke Aud; and his daughter, Suzanne Harrell. 

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Libertytown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be at Monocacy Cemetery in Beallsville, MD.
