Dr. William {Bill} P. Roberts, Sr.

Dr. William (Bill) P. Roberts, Sr., 78, of Braddock Heights, died on Saturday December 26, 2009 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He was the husband of Janice E. Roberts.
Born in Plymouth, PA., on September 22, 1931 he was the son of the late Ernest Arnold and Helen Mundy Roberts.
Dr. Roberts opened his own practice in general dentistry in 1963 at 19 North Court Street where he worked until he joined his sons practice in 1982 at 800 Toll House Ave., Frederick.
He retired in 1998 and enjoyed traveling and his time spent with his family. He was a member of the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1963.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Dr. William P. Roberts Jr. and his wife Lynn of Frederick. Grandchildren Ryan Roberts, Jessica Jones and husband Scott and Jeremy Phelps and wife Jaime. Brothers Pastor Ernest Roberts and wife Shirley of Auburn, CA., and James Roberts and wife Dixie of Camino, CA. Also survived by Eleven nieces.
Visitation: Friends may call on Wednesday December 30, from 3-5 & 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Saturday January 2, 2010 at the Frederick Seventh Day Adventist, 6437 Jefferson Pike, Frederick, MD 21703. Pastor Robert Quintana will officiate. Interment will be private.
