Death 6/22/16 Lawrence J. Dlugosz, PhD., CIH. Husband of Jing Dlugosz; father of Ann, Michael, Russell, Marissa, and late John; brother of Paul (Nancy), John, Michael (Frances), Karen Sewastynowicz, Joan (Timothy) Twarog, Margaret (Robert) Heftka, Mark, Marianne (John) Anderson, Suzanne (Ronald Jr) Moscati; son of late Leonard and late Anne Dlugosz; beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Larry graduated from West Seneca Senior HS. He received his BA from New York University, and MS, and PhD, from SUNY Buffalo. He also did a post Doctoral fellowship at Yale University. He was also a certified industrial hygienist (CIH). He served his country in the U. S. Air Force and NY National Guard.
Larry served as a professional in Epidemiology, Health and Safety related fields. His current position was Safety and Health Manager at National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). He authored many research papers in Epidemiology topics.
Larry traveled extensively and enjoyed camping and the outdoors with his family.
A wake will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 with a service beginning at 10 a.m.
