Douglas "Doug" Glock, Jr.

Mr. Douglas R. Glock, Jr. (Doug), 48, died unexpectedly at his home Saturday, May 6, 2017

He was the husband of Tammy Hilderbrand Glock, his wife and companion of 32 years.

Born in Towson, MD June, 17, 1968 he was the son of Douglas R. Sr. and Joan Harmon Glock, of Frederick, MD.

Doug owned and operated his tractor and trailer business for many years and currently worked for M & M Welding.

Doug enjoyed collecting vehicles, driving long distances, traveling out west, seafood, going to auctions and country music. He was an avid Alan Jackson fan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his close family and friends.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his beloved daughters Danielle Zimmerman and husband Nick and Ashley Glock all of Mt. Pleasant.He was also expecting his first grandchild in October, Baby Z. He is also survived by sister Chrissy Altig and friend Charlie of Frederick and brother Michael Glock and wife Jenny of Mt. Airy, sister Katie Glock of Frederick and several nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law Upton E. Sr., and Alice Young Hilderbrand of Monrovia and brother-in-law Upton E. Hilderbrand, Jr. of Frederick.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, l621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at 11AM. Pastor Steve Burdette will officiate.
