Douglas Echelberger

Douglas K. Echelberger, 56, of Gaithersburg died Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was predeceased by his wife, Cindy, in 2016.
Born February 3, 1961 in Yankton, SD, he was the son of Lowell and Iris Echelberger.
He was a veteran of the US Navy, having served during Desert Storm.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Craig D. Echelberger; sister, Kimberly S. Spletter; grandchildren, Liam and Marley Echelberger; nieces, Amanda and Morghan Kearney; and many additional family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m.
