Doshie Brown

Mrs. Doshie Elizabeth Brown, 90, of Frederick entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Northampton Manor Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late George Brown Sr.
Born April 16, 1927 in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Estelle Bundy Brown.
She was of Christian faith and a homemaker.
Surviving are six children, William Brown Sr. (Serena), Mary Brown (Frank), George Brown Jr., Earlina Brown, Earl Brown, and Rose Brown; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Bessie Dixon, Della Brown, and Rose Fossett; brothers, Lawrence Brown and Henry Brown; sons, Charles and David Brown; and daughter, Barbara Brown.
The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, where services will begin at 10 a.m.
Interment will be private.
