Dorothy Ellen Bittner

Dorothy Ellen Bittner, 66 of Frederick, MD passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2009.

Born December 31, 1942 in Morgantown, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Donald and Daisy Bond.

Dorothy previously worked at Golden Curl and Rockshire Beauty. She also loved to read.

She is survived by three children, Karen Gibson and husband Willie of Taneytown, MD, Carol Bane and husband Jerry, Sr. of Frederick, MD and Steven Bittner and girlfriend Brandy of Myrtle Beach, SC, eight grandchildren, Willie Jr., Barbara, Chasity, Ellen, Jerry Jr., Jessica, Tiffany and Kristina, eight great grandchildren, Malik, Matthew, Dominic, Kyleigh, Damarian, Ella, Camerin and Caden, two brothers, James Bond and wife Marlene and Robert Bond, one sister, Shirley Trimble and husband Frank. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Bond and Donald Bond, Jr. and a sister, Donna Napoli.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, April 10 from 6:00-9:00 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 11 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ernie Whitmer officiating.

Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Martinsburg, West Virginia.
