Dorothy "Dottie" Abosso

Dorothy "Dottie" S. Abosso, 92, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Glade Valley Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Abosso, Jr. .
Born on November 19, 1923, in Nashville, TN she was the daughter of the late Grover C. and Myrtle Patterson Smith.
Dottie was a longtime member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bethesda. Prior to her retirement she worked for Montgomery County Public Schools for 20 plus years. Dottie was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, arts and crafts and loved music and dancing.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Parket of Frederick and nephews Ralph Parker and Jim Barr both of VA.
She was preceded in death by her son Johnny and her daughter Mary Ann.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 7730 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD on Saturday,June 11, 2016 at 1:00PM. Pastor Jan P. Lookingbill and Pastor Tim Simpson will officiate.
