Dorothy Wilson

Mrs. Dorothy Marie Wilson, 83, of Frederick, died on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Wilson who died on October 28, 2010.
Born on October 20, 1927, in Frederick, she was the daughter of the late George K. and Marie Strine Winebrener. She attended secretarial school and was a secretary for Price Electric and then for General Cable. Dorothy was a member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren where she was a member of BYDANHO Sunday School Class, as well as volunteering over the years in numerous ways. She enjoyed reading and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Surviving are a son, Jeffrey S. Wilson and wife Karen of Walkersville; 3 grandchildren: Brianna, Brooke and Micah Wilson all of West Virginia a sister, Betty Winebrener Clem of Frederick; nephew Michael Clem and wife Dorothy and great niece Lauren all of Westminster. The family would like to thank Dr. J. Fillmore and nurses Shandra and Jean at Frederick Memorial Hospital ER, and all the staff of the ICU for all their care and concern for our mother.
The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM on Tuesday, February 15, at Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Ave., Frederick, MD 21701, where a memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Paul Mundey and Rev. Sandi Evans Rogers officiating.
Interment will be private.
