Dorothy Moser

Dorothy Aileene Mason Moser, 79, of Locust Grove Road, Rohrersville MD passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at her home surrounded by loving family.
She was born February 8, 1939 to parents, Harry and Elizabeth Snyder Mason.
She graduated from Boonsboro High School Class of 1957.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Hurley “Jack” Moser; one son, John Eric and wife, Sherry; and by two grandsons, Gunner and Gavin Moser.
Dorothy is survived by two brothers, Donald and wife, Lois Mason, Richard and wife, Barbara Mason; and two sisters, Janet and husband, Chester Norris and Marie and husband, Mark Bikle. She is survived by eight nephews, two nieces, 10 great-nephews and five great-nieces.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Mason; and sister, Betty Violet.
Dorothy was a life long active member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.  She sang in the choir, played bells, served on many committees, and created floral arrangements for the church.  Her church was her life.
She enjoyed quilting, flower arranging, her home and family. She was employed in the banking industry most of her working career.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23rd at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Regina Beard. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Locust Grove in Rohrersville.
