Dorothy (Grime) Ekanger

Dorothy (Grime) Ekanger, 84, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Country Meadows in Frederick, MD.  She was the beloved wife of the late Orville Ekanger.
 
Born on March 11, 1939, in London England, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Ellen Grime.  
 
Dorothy received her BS in Business Administration from the University of MD.  She worked for over 25 years for the Department of Defense in various roles and ended her career working for National Security Agency as a Business Program Manager.  Dorothy enjoyed her time skiing with her friends and family, traveling the world and gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
 
She is survived by her three sons,  Russell A. Ekanger and Deborah Reyher of Vienna, VA,  Glenn D. Ekanger and Kristin Ekanger of Stafford, VA and Stephen J. Ekanger and Gina Ekanger of Frederick, MD; Grandchildren,  Rachel Ekanger, Caelyn Reyher, Justin Lamb, Nicholas Ekanger,Taylor Ekanger, Lauren DeWitt, and Lindsey Ekanger; great grandchildren, Ely Lamb, Wyatt Lamb, Henry DeWitt and Archer DeWitt.
 
Services and interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
