Doris Kolb, 88, of Frederick, passed from this life on December 19, 2017 at Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy. She was the wife of the late A. Roland Kolb. Born on December 3, 1929, in Port Deposit, she was the daughter of Frederick Nelson Bowers and Florence Marie (Carmack) Bowers.
Enter Education History Information Doris was a 1947 graduate of Frederick High School. She began her work career at Sears & Roebuck, later working for Frederick Tailoring and Frederick Trading. Mrs. Kolb was, at one time, a member at Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick.
She is survived by daughter, Sharon Pyle and husband Edward E. Pyle, Jr, son, Darrell Kolb, grandsons, Edward R. Pyle and Steven W. Pyle as well as a brother Ronnie Bowers. She will also be missed by close friends and extended family members.
