Doris Clampitt

Ms. Doris A. Clampitt, 79, of Ellicott City, MD, formerly of Boston, MA, died on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Gilchrist Hospice Center in Towson, MD.

Born July 31, 1936 in Chelsea, MA, she was the daughter of the late Anna A. (Brzoska) and Walter J. Pianka.

Doris attended St. Stanislaus Elementary School and was a member of St. Stanislaus Parish. After graduating from Chelsea High School, she received an Associates Degree from Bentley University School of Accounting in Boston.

She was formerly employed by Charles Rittenhouse in Boston, Shawmut Bank in Chelsea and JK Lasser Tax Firm in Boston. Additionally, she was an office manager at Conomikes Assoc. in Marina Del Rey, CA. She retired to Olney, MD in 1999, where she resided until her passing. She was a past parishioner of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olney and St. Michael's Catholic Church in Mt. Airy.

She is survived by her sisters, Janice Pianka Wozniak of Brookeville, MD and Mary K. Pianka Calo of Saugus, MA. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by 15 nieces and nephews, and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

Doris was predeceased by two brothers, Walter J. Pianka, Jr. of Saugus, and Michael F. Pianka of Fryeburg, ME.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10th from St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1125 St. Michael's Road, Mt. Airy, MD.

Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
