Doris Carneal

Mrs. Doris Arlene Carneal 80, of Mt. Airy, died Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Wilson Health Care Center in Gaithersburg.
Born April 11, 1936 in Waltham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Edith L. (Spaulding) and Arthur R. Turner, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen G. Carneal, of 45 years.
Doris Arlene was employed by the CIA after 27 years of service.
Surviving are two children, Scott A. Carneal and his wife, Susan, of Germantown, MD and Diana L. Kinsley and husband, John, of Monrovia, MD; grandchildren, Shannon, Sandra, and Sean Carneal and Evan and Erik Kinsley; and one brother, Arthur R. Turner, Jr. of MA.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 11th at the funeral home with Rev. M. Valentine Keveny officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an ovarian cancer research organization.
