Doris Baumer, 97, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, June 8, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born on April 28, 1923, in Baltimore, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Edward Gribben and Laura (Jenkins) Gribben.
She was the loving wife of the Philbert Baumer, her husband of 64 years.
Doris loved spending time with her family, shopping and going out to lunch.
She is survived by her children, Connie Sunderhaus and husband, Joe, Craig Baumer and wife, Janet and Kristin Barker and husband, Chris; She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 sister. She is preceded in death by 4 siblings.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy, MD. 21771.
A Graveside services will be held Lakeview Memorial Park on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Father Michael Ruane will officiate.
