Donna M. (Smith) Huntzberry

Donna M. Huntzberry, 46, of 7726 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 10, while surrounded by family and friends.

Born on September 16, 1962 in Washington County, she was the daughter Nancy J. (Leatherman) Smith of Boonsboro, Md. and the late Wayne A. Smith.

Donna attended the Williamsport High School and was employed at the Keedysville Country Store.  She was a member and faithfully attended the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sharpsburg, Md.

In addition to her mother, Donna is survived her fiance', Joe Waters, of Boonsboro; two sons Robert W. Huntzberry and fiance' Jamie Poffenberger of Clearspring and Joseph L. Waters, II living at home; one sister, Barb J. Warrenfeltz and husband Tim of Fairplay, MD.; three brothers, Michael W. Smith of Boonsboro, Randy L. Smith and wife Holly of Falling Waters, WV and Bill W. Smith and wife Trudy, of Boonsboro; and two grandchildren Alyvia N. and Wyatt A. Huntzberry.  Donna is also survived by several neices and nephews as well as her  treasured and loyal cat, Smokey.

Donna was preceded in death by one brother, Wayde A. Smith; and one nephew Dustin W. Smith.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, at 11 am at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home P.A., 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.  The Rev. Richard G. Hembrock and Rev. Karen Erskine-Valentine will officiate.  Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Sharpsburg.

Friends may call beginning at 9 am on Friday, June 12 at the funeral home where the family will recieve friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
