Our beloved daughter, Donna Lucille Preudhomme, of Frederick, MD, passed away suddenly on September 13, 2012. Donna was born on February 21, 1987 in Rockville, Md. to Bruce and Suzanne Preudhomme, of Frederick, MD, and that day was one of the happiest days of their lives.
Donna graduated with honors from Frederick High School in 2005. She earned a Presidential scholarship to Hood College, where she attended for four years, majoring in Psychology, with hopes to continue her education focusing in Music Therapy. Her dream and aspiration was to help special needs children, focusing on autism through music therapy. Her passions included being in nature, music, reading, writing, drawing and spending time with family and friends. She was a true artist and musician. Donna touched many lives in her short life.
In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her brother, Ken and his wife, Nicole, and their two children, Kerryn and Brenden Preudhomme, as well as two uncles; Don and Mark Preudhomme and their families. She is also survived by her grandmother and namesake, Donna Dorros, and her God-family Mary, Dennis, Christopher and Jessica Haines.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick Md. Visitation will be from 12-1pm, with the service to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a scholarship fund set up for her beloved niece and nephew, Kerryn and Brenden Preudhomme. Checks may be made payable to Bruce or Suzanne Preudhomme and sent to 5615 Rivendell Place, Frederick, MD 21703.
