Donna Anders

Mrs. Donna Jean Anders, 81, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at her home.  She was the beloved wife of Marvin R. Anders for 53 years.

Born on November 7, 1931 in Hancock, MD she was the daughter of the late Oscar P. and Cleda Dawson Michael.

Mrs. Anders worked as a cashier for the ACME grocery store.  Donna enjoyed working in the garden and loved canning.  She also loved flowers and fixing up her house.  Donna was also very talented in sewing, quilting and doing embroidery all by  hand.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Cheryl Farrar and husband Paul of Mt. Airy; granddaughter Mariesa Dawn Farrar; nephew Michael Kidwell and cousin Richard Butler of Berkley Springs.

She is preceded in death by her sister Junella S. Kidwell.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville, Blvd, Mt. Airy on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11 AM.  Gerald M. Anders will officiate.

Interment will follow at Pleasant View Gardens Cemetery in Kearneysville, WV at 2 PM.
