Donald Emmett Weaver

Donald "Donnie" Weaver died suddenly on Monday, September 4, 2023 at his home in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Donnie was a graduate of Seneca valley High school and throughout the years studied psychology at several of our area colleges. A long time resident of Frederick, he is remembered in part for his many years of being a ‘DJ’ for a variety of festivities in our area. Additionally, he volunteered and then worked for the Religious Coalition for Emergency Human Needs at its Frederick location. For the past 4-5 years he was a highly respected driver for both Uber and Lyft, winning praise from both employers and passengers for his professionalism.

He is survived by his son, Donald Emmett Weaver, Jr., his daughter, Allison Innocent (Willy), three grandsons, Tyler, Layne, and Eric (Weavers) and three granddaughters, Eliana, Amari, and Charlee (Innocents),  his mother, Lorraine Weaver, and several aunts and  uncles as well as a host of cousins.

Donnie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy D. Weaver.

The family will receive friends at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 8428 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am, a Mass will follow at 11:00am.
