Donald Sensenig

Mr. Donald Eugene Sensenig, 86, of Frederick, MD died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his home. Born January 15, 1927 in Ephrata, PA, he was the son of the late Mella Pipgress and Wilson Pipgress. His wife, Dorothy Sensenig preceded him in death in 2003. He is also preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Lentz. He is survived by one daughter, Diane Sensenig, and four sons, Donnie Jr. Sensenig and wife JoAnn, Dana Sensenig, Darren Sensenig and companion Cindy, Daryl Sensenig and wife Terri; Seven Grandchildren, Melodie Severt , Kelly Sensenig, Dustin Sensenig, April Wasserleben, Brandon Sensenig, Brooke Sensenig, Hunter Sensenig, and ten Great- Grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Nancy Goheen, Anna Mary Nelson. He attended Frederick First Church of the Nazarene. He served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946 at Moffet Field, Oakland, CA. He retired from Mack Truck in Hagerstown, MD in 1993 after more than 30 years of service as a Machinist. He enjoyed vacationing with his family, reminiscing on stories, and playing Golf. He was in one of Norman Rockwells Painting as a child and was very proud of it. He also was extremely proud of owing his 1963 Chevorlet impala Convertible. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Stauffer Funeral Homes P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2013. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, MD.
