Donald O'Neal, Sr.

Donald Lee O'Neal, Sr., 72, of Rohrersville, Maryland, passed from this life on December 10, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on May 4, 1940, in Bolivar, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ralph and Marget Clemmie (Homels) O'Neal.
He was a dedicated member of the Bethel United Methodist Church.
Donald worked for the Maryland State Highway Administration for over 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Esther L. O'Neal of Rohrersville; two daughters, Rebecca A. Barnhart of Hagerstown, Maryland and Kimberly M. Chaney of Boonsboro, Maryland; two sons, Donald L. O'Neal, Jr. of Cascade, Maryland and Samuel E. O'Neal of Greencastle, Pennsylvania; and one sister, Patricia Eppley of Knoxville, Maryland. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Boonsboro Cemetery in Boonsboro. Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate.
