Donald Martin

Mr. Donald Irvin Martin, 90, of Frederick, MD., passed away Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Miriam Homet Martin. They were married for 62 years.
Born August 28, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph Irvin and Mary Edith Roberts Martin.
Mr. Martin served his county in the US Army Special Services. He retired from GEICO Insurance after many years of service. Donald was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his children Donald Homet Martin of Catonsville, Marilynn Lynerd and husband Michael of Frederick and Glenn Allen Martin of CA, grandchildren Matthew Martin and wife Cara Elizabeth Martin of Albany, NY, James Martin of Catonsville and Karyn Lynerd of Frederick. He was preceded in death by a grandson Andrew Martin Lynerd.
Service and interment private.
