Donald Harbaugh

Mr. Donald Harbaugh, 79, of Sabillasville, died on Friday, December 5, 2008 at The Village of Laurel Run, nursing facility, Fayettville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jane ( Green ) Harbaugh in 1996.
Mr. Harbaughs' life career was farming in the Sabillasville area. He was mechanically inclined and in his earlier years worked as a mechanic. He was a life member of the Blue Ridge Sportsman Club and volunteered his butchering skills for the Catoctin FFA.
He is survived by his daughter Bonnie DeLauter of Sabillasville, two granddaughters, Robin Sharer of PA and Karen L. DeLauter, of Sabillasville; two sisters, Dorothy Valentine and husband J. Richard, of Emmitsburg, Mary J. Seiss and husband Sterling of Thurmont, son-in-law Harry Sharer, Jr. of Sabillasville, and his care givers, Evelyn Smith, Melody Coulter, Mary Gouge, Susie Rodriquez and Mary Jo Dewees.
Mr. Harbaugh was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Sharer, two infant brothers, William and Henry Harbaugh.
Visitation: Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont on Sunday, December 7th, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Evangelist Richard Long officiating.
Interment in Creagerstown Cemetery.
