Donald Green, Sr.

Born on January 18, 1970 in Hagerstown, he is the son of Robert L. Green, Sr. and Ellen Mae (Deatrich) Green of Boonsboro.

Donald was a 1988 graduate from Boonsboro High School.

He had formerly been an employee with Rust-Oleum Corporation in Williamsport.

Donald is survived by his spouse, Barbara A. (Myers) Green of Boonsboro; a daughter, Katrina M. Green of Boonsboro; two sons, Donald R. Green, Jr. and Robert L. Green, Jr., both of Boonsboro; a step-son, Troy M. Myers of Boonsboro; his paternal grandmother, Magdalene Green of Hagerstown; a sister, Christina S. Baxley of Florida; a niece, Abigail Baxley and a nephew, Brooks Baxley, both of Florida.  He is also survived by his loving companion of the last year and a half, Angela M. Shoemaker of Boonsboro.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Ann Green in 1971; his paternal grandfather, Roy Green; and his maternal grandparents, Richard D. and Esther B. Deatrich.

A graveside funeral ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.
