Donald Blizzard

Mr. Donald David Blizzard, 69, of Mount Airy, died on Monday, January 2, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of Sharon L. Perry Blizzard of Westminster. Born on December 15, 1942, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Howard G. and Dorothy I. Blizzard. Donald worked as a Supervisor for Columbia Gas Transmission for over forty years. He had a giving and loving nature, and took pride in a hard days work. Donald was an avid golfer, having made 2 "hole in ones" in his lifetime. Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter, Kelly J. Blizzard of Mt. Airy. He was preceded in death by daughter, Cherie Blizzard and a sister, Joan Keenan. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM on Friday, January 6, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy. Interment will be private.
