Donal Petersen

Mr. Donal Roy Petersen, 82, of Frederick, died on Wednesday January 18, 2012 at Kline Hospice House, Mt. Airy. He was the husband of Pauline D. Petersen.
Born on May 29, 1929 in Brooklyn New York he was the son of the late Roy Chester and Matilda Sahm Petersen.
He was very active at the Delaplaine Visual Arts Center in Frederick, where he and his wife enjoyed painting and displaying his artwork.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three children; Mark C. Petersen and wife Esther of New Market, Paul R. Petersen and wife Kathy of Harwood, and Christine Elmore of Jacksonville, Fl. Grandchildren Erik, Charles, Brian and Kevin. One great grandchild Isaac. One sister, Lois Campbell of Lutherville, MD
Memorial Services will be held on January 29th, 2012 at 2 p.m.  New Market United Methodist Church, 5501 Old New Market Road, New Market, MD 21774. Interment will be private.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, P. O. 1799, Frederick, Maryland 21702.
