Diane Underwood

Diane Underwood, of Plant City, Florida originally from Frederick passed from this life on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Florida.

Born October 6, 1945 in Frederick Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Bartlett and Katherine Bartlett (nee Albaugh )

She was the loving wife of the late James Underwood, Jr.  her husband of 16 years, he passed away in 2008.

Diane owned a hair salon in Rockville, MD before owning her own concession business which she ran until her passing.

When Diane wasn't working she was an avid collector of carnival memorabilia and dolls and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly McDonald and Timothy Staley and wife, Jessica Staley; grandmother of Jennell Eyler, Jenncyn Eyler and Jace and Jax Staley;
sister, Pamela Thomas. She is also survived by many dear friends.

The family will receive friends from  10:30 -11:00 am at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

A celebration of Diane's life will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home.  A reception will be held at AmVets Post #2,  702 East South Street Frederick, MD 21702.

Rev. Tim May will officiate.
