Devin R. Witman, 21, of Hagerstown, passed suddenly from this life on Friday, April 26, 2013.
Born on August 22, 1991, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he is the son of Sandy C. (Hines) White of Hagerstown and the late Timothy A. Witman.
Devin was at his happiest when he was motorcycle riding and working on computers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his half-sister Destiny D. Witman of Texas; his maternal grandmother Linda Warrenfeltz and her husband Pete of Boonsboro, Maryland; his maternal step grandmother, Bonnie Hines and partner Matt of Emmitsburg, Maryland; his aunt Christy Webber of Hagerstown; and his uncles, Dwayne Hines of Keedysville, Maryland and Jamie Hines of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by several cousins.
Devin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Gerald Hines, in 2006.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home,7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at the Manor Church Cemetery in Boonsboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the funeral home.
