Denver Harvey

Mr. Denver L. Harvey, 89, of Frederick, MD passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Annice M. Rankin Harvey.
Born November 1, 1927 in Frostburg, MD he was the son of the late Charles and Maggie McKenzie Harvey.
Denver proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. Prior to his retirement he worked for the State Highway Admin. as a Surveyor. Denver enjoyed his retirement and was happiest when he was gardening.
He is survived by his children Denver S. Harvey of Frederick and Ann Marie Harvey of Lake Moses, WA; brother Leland K. Harvey of Columbia.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Glen, Robert and Charles and his sister Wilma.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike Frederick on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM.
There will be graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, February 8 at 2PM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
