Mr. Dennis “Denny” F. Welch, Jr. 41 of Jefferson, MD passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
Born September 9, 1974 in Silver Spring, Maryland he was the son of Dennis and Carol Welch of Jefferson, Maryland.
Denny was a 1992 graduate of Frederick High School. Denny’s most recent employment was sound engineer at Cornerstone Fellowship Center. He was a car enthusiast and worked in sound engineering for local bands in the Frederick area. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Duke Blue Devils fan. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering for Jeff Gordon.
Denny enjoyed traveling to Arizona and being around his family and friends.
In addition to his loving parents, Dennis and Carol, he is survived by his sister, Teresa Burch and husband, Roger, of Roxboro, NC; two nephews, Zackary and Zane Burch; a niece, Kelsey Welch; and his special friend, Mike Adams. He will also be remembered by his numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and special friends.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Welch; paternal grandparents, James and Isabella Welch and maternal grandparents, Asa and Melva Gogolin.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, December 18th from 2:00-3:00 PM. A memorial service will then begin at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Gerald Thomas officiating.
