Dennis E. Just

Dennis Eugene Just, was born on July 17, 1965 in Gettysburg, PA. He passed away on April 3, 2023 after a two year long illness. Dennis was a loving husband to Susan Lynch, his partner for more than 29 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Peggy Shriner Just.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother Linda Just of Thurmont, his father George Just of New York, and brother Keith Just of Thurmont. He was predeceased by his brother Matthew Just. He is also survived by numerous cousins including Michael and Jeff Eyler of Thurmont. He is also survived by loving family Shelley, Chuck, Delaney and Jackson Mezan of Aberdeen, MD and Alan, Michele, Kiersten and Kaden Zimmerman of North Palm Beach, FL.

Dennis worked as a plumber at several local plumbing companies before working for Frederick County Public Schools where he recently retired after 19 years of service. Dennis’s other passions were wood working, fishing, gardening, and enjoying time with family and dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, April 6, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, MD 21788. Please join us in celebrating Dennis’ life at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 7, in the funeral home ­­­-come as you are.
