Dennis Hutzell

Dennis W. "Denny" Hutzell, 73, of Hagerstown, passed from this life on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Doey's House in Hagerstown. He was the loving husband of Barbara Hutzell.
Born on February 9, 1945, in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late Roger and Virginia (Harman) Hutzell. Denny was preceded in death by his brother, Jim.
After graduating from Boonsboro High School Denny proudly served in the Army Reserves during which time he was employed by Mack Trucks until his retirement.
For many years, Denny was a member of the Boonsboro American Legion Post 10 for many years. He was an avid Orioles and Redskins fan and loved to golf.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his three stepdaughters and their families.
Graveside services will be held at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Boonsboro Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Butler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, December 27th at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro.
