Dennis Cline

February 8, 1951 — April 1, 2013

Mr. Dennis Wayne Cline, 62, of Frederick, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Betty Jane Cline. They were married for 36 years.

Born February 8, 1951, he was the son of Louise Garst Cline of Frederick and the late Milo Cline.

A 1969 graduate of Linganore High School, Dennis was past president of the Linganore FFA Chapter that just recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a reception of past FFA presidents.

He dairy farmed with his family in the Libertytown area until 1999. He more recently worked in the family business, Sunset Supply for the last 20 years.

Dennis loved baseball and was an avid National's fan. He was a collector of baseball cards and model trains.

He was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren.

In addition to his wife and mother, Dennis is survived by three children, Robbie Cline and wife, Tina, of Union Bridge; Tara Shelton and husband, Eddie, of Taneytown; and Melissa Cline of Thurmont; five grandchildren, Austin Jackson, Brayden Longenecker, Darin Cline, Emily Cline, and Paicen Shelton; a brother, Robert (Bobby) Cline and wife, Susan, of Frederick; a sister, Penny Storm and husband, Lance, of Frederick; one sister-in-law, Ruthie Cline of Frederick; and his mother-in-law, Margaret Angleberger of Walkersville.

He also is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dennis was predeceased by his father; a brother, Ronnie Cline; and his father-in-law, George Angleberger.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 5 from the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Glade Cemetery in Walkersville.
