Delores Knott

Mrs. Dolores Ann (Punk) Knott, 80, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away Sunday August 16, 2015 at Glade Valley Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born June 9, 1935 in Hansonville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Hildebrand Eaves.
Punk was a graduate of Walkersville High School, Class of 1953, where she was known for her great sports ability in basketball and softball. She was a loyal NASCAR and Baltimore Oriole’s Fan. She was a former school bus driver for many years and later retired from Bio-Whittaker.
She was a very giving person especially to her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by a brother Charles Eaves, Jr. and companion Sandy Toms and a sister Mary Frances (Frani) Shoemaker and husband Robert of Walkersville, and a number of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by two sisters Marjorie Aubol and Louella (Sis) Peterson.
Graveside services will be held at Glade Cemetery on Wednesday, August 19, at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Foucart officiating.
