Delores Ann Beck

Delores Ann Beck, 87, of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She was born September 23, 1937, to the late Kenneth E. Group and Edna Fair Group.

Delores loved the Lord, and she proudly served as the pastor’s wife for the Edgewood Church of God, Frederick, MD for more than 26 years. She also was a bank teller for Farmers and Mechanics Bank in Frederick for many years and worked in retail as well.

Delores loved music. She played the piano and the accordion, sang on the radio and in churches of all denominations with her twin sister and with her husband. She was devoted to her family and her faith, wanting her children/grandchildren to love and serve the Lord and others. Thankfully she was able to enjoy a lengthy retirement with her husband in Myrtle Beach.

Left to cherish Delores’ memory are her children, Duane L. Beck, II and his wife, Alyson, and Diane Lair and her husband, Dennis; four grandchildren and their spouses, Rachel (Ian), Aaron (Krista), Ryan (Bridget) and Kristen. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duane Beck.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at StaufferFuneralHome.com.
