Debra Geisinger

Ms. Debra Ellen "Debbie" Geisinger, 64, of Frederick died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Golden Living Center.
Born September 17, 1952 in Berkeley Springs, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edward and June (Young) Gloyd.
Debbie worked as a bank teller for over 20 years, most recently with BB&T.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. In 2005, Debbie received a kidney from her daughter, Melissa. Following Melissa's untimely death in 2010 to cancer, Debbie greatly missed and mourned her only daughter...her best friend.
Debbie is survived by her son, Michael W. Geisinger and wife, Dixie, of Middletown; three grandchildren, Brooke Geisinger, Kaylynn Moore and Tyler Moore; two great-grandchildren, Michael Harrison, Jr. and Jayce Kauffman; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Melissa Moore in February of 2010; and her brothers, Daryl Gloyd and Leroy Gloyd.
The family wishes to thank her nephew, David Geisinger, for his many caring visits; her good friends, Vicky Gloyd and Kim Butts, for their love and friendship; and to the staff at Golden Living for the compassionate care given to Debbie the last two years.
Funeral services will be private and for the family.
