Debra F. Eisel, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on January 5, 2024, at her home in Damascus, Maryland. She was surrounded by her family during her final moments. Debra's warm presence and vibrant spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on September 12, 1951, in Maryland, Debra was the cherished daughter of Charles Bradley Firth and Virginia Corey Tobin. With a deep love for learning and a passion for helping others, Debra dedicated 30 years of her life to the Montgomery County Public Schools as an Administrative Secretary. Her dedication and commitment to her work left an indelible mark on the school community.
Beyond her professional achievements, Debra had a zest for life that was infectious. She loved glamor and jewelry – always adorned with her signature sparkles that matched the effervescent twinkle in her eyes. Her sparkling personality brought joy to every room she entered and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.
Debra's husband, Allan Eisel; brother, David Tobin; and sister, Elizabeth McNeal; were those closest to her heart. Together they shared countless memories filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. Their bond remains unbreakable as they navigate through this difficult time.
To honor Debra's memory and commemorate the beautiful life she lived, services will be held over the coming days. The visitation will take place at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mount Airy, MD. 21771 on January 11, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during this time of remembrance.
A graveside service will follow on January 12th at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring. The service will begin at 10:00 AM to bid farewell to our dear Debra.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Debra's memory to the National Multiple Scleroris. This act of kindness will undoubtedly continue her legacy of compassion and generosity.
Debra F. Eisel will forever remain in our hearts – a shining beacon of love, light, and kindness. Her memory will be eternally cherished, and her spirit will live on within each and every one of us. May she find eternal peace in the embrace of her loved ones who have gone before her.
