Deborah Woods-Scott

Mrs. Deborah M. "Debi" Woods-Scott, 58, of Frederick died suddenly on Monday, April 4, 2016 at her home. She was the wife of David Scott.
Born November 28, 1957 in San Diego, CA she was the daughter of Herbert Woods of Texas and the late Marsha (Scariano) Woods.
Debi was Head of Nurse Midwifery at Harbour Hospital in Baltimore and had delivered over 3000 babies as a midwife.
She received her RN degree from Marymount University and her BSN from University of Tennessee. She received her Midwife certification and Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by three sons, David Firman and wife, Abby Templin; Jon Firman; and Matt Firman; four grandchildren, David, Tyler, Shayla, and Mason; and her brother, Chuck Woods .
A memorial service will begin at 12 noon on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Evangelical Reformed United Church of Christ, 15 W. Church Street, Frederick. Officiating will be the Rev. Mike Albro.
Interment will be private.
