Mrs. Debbie Ruth Kidwell, 83, of Ijamsville MD passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at Glade Valley Nursing Home, Walkersville. She was the wife of the late Ralph Kidwell, Sr.
Born on February 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Albert Vernon and Debbie Ruth Harding. She cannot be described in just one word, she was so many things to so many people. She was and will always be a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. But most of all she was a cook, she warmed the hearts of family and friends through the food she prepared which was full of love. She was a protector and always there to provide a delicious meal and a shoulder to lean on. She told it like it was without regret. Words cannot do justice to express the loss the world has suffered, she left an impression on the hearts of everyone who met her and she will forever be missed.
Surviving are 3 children: Richard Kidwell and wife Patty, Ruthie Ciufolo and husband Ken, and Bruce Kidwell and wife Theresa; 11 grandchildren: Michael Kidwell, Chad Kidwell, Anthony Ciufolo, Lisa Britt, Marc Ciufolo, Jena Kidwell, Hilary Kidwell, Brent Kidwell, Trevor Kidwell, Tad Wolfe, and Amanda Goodman; 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Buddy Harding and 4 sisters: Hazel Emerson, Doris Smith, Libby Webb, and Hannah Harding and brother, Buddy Harding.
